The Wedding Process

Your first visit is for a free style consultation where you will meet with one of our team to discuss the look and style you wish to have for your wedding day. You will have a chance to see sample suits of over 100 different styles and colors we carry as well as our large collection of tie colors to coordinate with your look. We recommend you schedule this appointment around 5-6 months before your wedding. An appointment for your consultation can be made here.

Each party member will need to complete their initial measurements. This initial measurement will give us the information we need to order in their garments. It is best if they are able to come into our store location for measurements as we will be able to have them try on items from the exact vendors you have picked out. For those that live out of the area they may submit their measurements online here.

We require that all initial measurements are completed no later than 6 months prior to your wedding date in order to have a choice in all options offered. If we are working with less than 6 months time we may be able to accommodate  but options may be scaled back or additional rush fees may apply if expedited shipping is required.

After we have confirmed your final style choices and all party members have completed their measurements, we will place the order for your garments. For the sizes they have in stock, our average lead time to arrive is 2-5 weeks depending on the vendor. Due to supply chain issues this year it is imperative to start as early as you can to give time for backorders to come in.

During peak times, back-orders can be common, and may result in suits coming in at different times. As long as the initial measurements are submitted on time we will have enough time for back-orders to be filled.

As each person’s suit arrives, we will contact them directly to alert them of its arrival. We ask that they come to our store within 2-3 weeks of its arrival to try it on, and get it marked up for tailoring. Average time to return from the tailor is 1-2 weeks.

For out of area party members, we will ship their suit or tuxedo out to them untailored, so they can alter it locally, in their area.

As items arrive back from tailoring, each member will be contacted by phone or text alerting them that their suit is ready for pickup. We do ask they come in for their final fitting 2-3 weeks of being notified. We encourage everyone to try on their garments while in the store so we can review the fit and make sure everything is to their liking. If everything fits well, they will be able to take it home that day. If other alterations are requested we will mark and send back for tailoring.
